My husband and I had the pleasure of exploring Grieg's caves with Graham and Rick; stunning scenery, very informative and just plain fun scrambling in and out of caves of various sizes. Good footwear and an open mind are really the only two requirements. Mary Ann Payne-ChaseGreig Caves for Eco Adventures 170408 crp 704px

Another Biosphere exclusive! A guided discovery tour of Greig's Caves. These spectacular “sea” caves were the site of filming for the movie Quest For Fire. Go as deep as you dare in the 7000 year old limestone caverns. Learn the history of post-glacial Lake Nipissing that created these geological gems. Search for rare fungi, flora and ferns such as the Hart’s Tongue in the lush deciduous forest beneath the cliff edge. Experience spectacular views of secluded Rush Cove before returning to the picnic area where we’ll enjoy a tastey snack.
