Volunteers are the heart and muscle of the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association.

Volunteers include permanent residents, farmers, cottagers, business people and government employees who have made a commitment to living and working in harmony with a natural environment that contains globally significant ecosystems. The three principles at the core of our volunteers' commitment are conservation, sustainable economic development and capacity building.

As a community Biosphere Reserve Association, we are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to translating these principles into concrete local action.

We have a variety of ways you can help. Some of these include: helping at Bayside Astronomy, at the Gravel Gran Fondo,  as an EcoAdventures sweep, helping to pull invasive phragmites and working on the endangered Red-headed Woodpecker initiative, planting trees and wild flower gardens, working with our communications team.
